Our History

Founded in 1993 by Sharon Davis, Strategic Technologies Corporation is an Arkansas-based provider of advanced technology solutions and Disaster Recovery Services and has served the needs of computing environments in the mid-south area and around the world.

Strategic is recognized by IBM as a premier provider and is in the elite top 5 percent of all technology organizations worldwide. We have IBM-certified sales and technical staff across multiple platforms, hardware, and software. Certifications include those from HP, IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, and Vmware.

Our clients include many of the region’s largest and most respected private and publicly held corporations, with a range of industries that include banking, healthcare, manufacturing, government, utilities, and distribution.

Focal Point Solutions Group, LLC Acquires Strategic Companies

In August 2022, Strategic Companies was acquired by Focal Point Solutions Group (FPSG), a full-service provider of managed IT services and cloud hosting to enterprise clients.

Now part of the FPSG family of companies under the leadership of Ron Venzin, CEO, Strategic Companies is well-positioned to continue delivering a full range of technical and business services that include business continuity planning, business continuity auditing, data-recovery testing, and enterprise testing. Strategic has been tested and proven and participated in several companies’ successful recovery efforts during Hurricane Katrina.

Sharon Davis worked closely with Ron Venzin to coordinate and collaborate across our talented and experienced technical teams to ensure smooth and seamless continuity for our customers.
